I have been playing bass for a year, I am progressing but get frustrated at what I can't do. The thing is i'm enjoying myself, we have formed a band at work
and my playing has improved no end. Just to say I am 50 so you have plenty of time.

Hi
Any update on payment, being christmas post is slow.
Jon -
i have a g&l l2500, brilliant bass
-
i tried the mb little rocker and the little mark111 through my barefaced compact and i thought the lm III sounded much better.
jon -
if needed to, i am willing to pay a bit extra towards the deposit i we fall short of numbers. hope this is not the case and their is a late surge in numbers
as i would not wish it to be cancelled. -
sorry entered twice somehow . my appologies
please remove if possible -
is this a good show, worth going to.
can you pick up some good bargins at these show's -
i saw the adverts in my bass mag this month. who's going to go and are these shows good?
-
+1 MU again
-
i love mine, i have a mb lm III and i think it sounds fantastic.
if your near kings lynn, norfolk your welcome to try your amp with my compact. or alternatively i will have it with me at the east anglian bass bash. (see thread)
jon -
just to add to this thread i purchased a barefaced compact and took it with me to a bass shop colchester. i tried a variety of amps with it,
the rh 450, shuttle 9, mark bass little rocker and the mb lm3, having eliminated the shuttle 9 and the little rocker i was left with the rh 450
and the lm3. after further tryouts i went for the amp which sounded best with my cab. that was the lm3. -
i have a barefaced compact, i'm in kings lynn norfolk.
-
looks like the nottingham bass bash went well, lets hope some more people put their names down for the east anglian bash
