    IMHO As builder i tap every piece of wood before buying( tuning fork is really useful too!) you have to spend some time listening the different resonance between each blank. The best sounding is the one i take to my workshop. Pickups are a big part of the instrument but not the most important.

    Warwick BC series are great. Own the BC20 abd BC300 and i prefer Warwick than MarkBass, sound more clear.

    Hi everybody, i´m basschat member since 2010...but never said "hello" Im a builder and also a bass player. My main axe is a Custom 12 strings bass and a Yamaha BB3000MA. Amp: Sadowsky SA200 Head and Aguilar DB212. I use to play jazz,Garage,power pop in diferent bands but my current project its a instrumental duo called Arcano Guzman.
