My current band Blaxar are looking for a replacement bassist They're a top bunch of guys who can all play/perform and they have a great following locally, this is a relatively busy band so would suit someone looking to gig in pubs at least once a week. We will be playing weddings/parties/functions etc with the odd pub gig thrown in too. No time-wasters please - we need someone who can commit to one rehearsal a week and 3-4 gigs a month (usually weekends as we all have day jobs) The line up is female vocal, guitar, drums, keyboards, looking to add bass and possible 2nd female vocal. The situation is we are a "new" band looking for a reliable bass player so we can finish the set and get gigging. We have a number if gigs lines up already this year. We're not kids, all aged between 36-48 - all with transport, gear and a high level of commitment. We have all come from other function/wedding/corporate bands, that were gigging up till last year so have plenty of experience in the function/wedding scene.
