  1. Kriss became the new keeper of the Ritter Cora....well sort of, he bought it for his partner...lucky girl...wish my partner bought me gear like this.

For Kriss' part, no problems. He transferred the funds into my account as soon as we agreed terms. For my part, a delay with collection meant that the Ritter didn't start it's journey to him until a day after it should have. Hoping that it arrives safe and sound.

I'd have no hesitation in dealing with him again. You shouldn't either.

  2. After two and a half years and over 29,00 views (this must be some sort of record surely) this has sold and is now off to foreign climes where it will get the use it deserves. I'll be sorry to see to go - especially as the item I planned on buying with the proceeds has sold!! My timing off again.

  3. I played the "solid body" style one at the LBGS and why highly impressed - certainly better than the Ashbory.

I'm waiting for them to start selling for under £200 and I'm going to buy one. These would be perfect for getting your kids involved in bass playing - proper bass sound in a little package.

Band reunion explaining the bass player that he needs to learn the new set or the band has no choice other to let him go. If he says that he won't be able to learn the songs then the band informs him that they'll get another bass player learning the songs and if he's willing he can keep playing with the band until the release of the album. Of course he may choose to quit the band instantly and force someone to learn the songs in a hurry for the upcoming gigs but it's his choice and the band should be prepared to deal with the situation.

Conversation is always the best way to solve things, going behind someone's back shows intention to sack him off without giving him a chance or explanation and even shows that the band took advantage of his good will to have him playing the required gigs until they had the replacement ready.

Sorry mate, i'm siding with that bass player in this, must be an awful sensation to be sacked of a band like this.

This...they should be upfront, give him the chance to get it right, he probably knows whether he's going to be good enough and may do "the right thing". Result - no animosity and you've nothing to worry about if you do step in.

  5. Does anybody send the link to these threads to the offenders or their customer service depts?? Lets them know that they're not getting away with poor service and that in the end their reputation and sales suffer.

In these times of Fender prices being sky high, a hand made beauty like this is appealing.

    Enjoy them!

My thoughts exactly...I don't understand why anybody buys a new Fender.
