There was one sold locally (Watford) last year for just over £200 last year. I bid that amount and lost to the next bidder.

How about a super cheap EBS Fafner instead?

Expect a last minute battle though. -
I had a JB Markbass for a short time - sold as I wasn't impressed - I felt it needed a compressor to get the tones I wanted.
Remember that I'm really a Trace Elliot fan which the MB can't emulate without adding pedals. If this isn't what you're after, ignore this comment.
The MB is surprisingly loud considering it's weight/size - a friend of mine gigged his without any issues as do many others so that isn't going to be something you'll need to worry about. -
Nick (Doctor of the Bass) is a great player and teacher. He has done seminars at the 2015/2016 Herts Bashes - check the Events threads.

Especially when they're made of plastic...note the alignment...the string is nearly falling off the fretboard at the last fret.
-
There's a bit more in the "Is there any bad gear" thread. -
A lesson in proof reading....title amended.

I was wondering if there's a more popular. Expect the result may be weighted by Fender owners

Having just bought a nice shiny Alembic copy I can almost guarantee this is the same type of crap from the same factory

Lots of great recommendations which are significantly less than the Warwick. The customer service will probably be equally better than that from Warwick.
Personally I rate both my Body Glove and Protection Racket gig bags very highly...I'd be reluctant to part with either. -
Certainly up there as a contender for ugliest bass ever:

Maybe this is 20th century Bass taken back to the Victorian era by HG Wells, customised and brought back, so is totally authentic...
-
I'm pretty sure that you could get a converter to make this usable....
Please pick up the P&P... -

If you find a good sound, you could spend a lifetime trying to find it again!

I had that issue with my Warwick Dolphin... -
Plenty of interest but nobody has parted with the required pictures of Her Maj yet.
Adrian (Anzoid) if I ever think about getting rid of the fretless I'll send you a PM. -

.... You don't need those massive ugly things that Fender insist on fitting to their basses.

I completely agree
My original reference was to the position of the tuners

I don't think Mrs Andyjr will be happy if you take a guitar shaped chunk out of her dining room table.....

A good way to get a black eye, if that's what you're after...
