    Great sounding bass with different tonal options via the switching; series, parallel and single coil - plus able to mix configurations. Plays really nicely and the B string is great sounding. 35" scale length so lots of tone and detail in the lower range. Around 4Kg in weight. Ash body, maple top, maple board. Bought in July of this year and selling as no longer require a 5 string. Courier to be arranged by buyer.

    Sold my G&L L2000 to Mike today. Really nice guy to do business with. Very genuine and a real gent. Aside from the sale; he's got some great stories about gigging, musicians and the bass business. The sale was very smooth and a pleasure to meet Mike!

    Thanks for the comment. I always preferred the idea of 35inch scale length on the B, but the break angle on the bridge creates a lot of tension and the B is very well defined and focused.

    I agree. The necks are great and very light basses. This one's set up with light gauge strings so great for slapping. I was planning to sell this but changed my mind as its a lot of bass for not much cost. Thanks for the comment.

    Yes, did it myself. Chiselled out some of the wood beneath the pickup to enable it to go lower as was aiming for the Willis thing - low action and light touch. Unfortunately, Basswood is very light and a mishap on my part led to the section chipping off. Here's another angle on that section.
