1. Hey all, I've got a trio of basses up for grabs here!!

For Sale i have two project basses, one p bass type and one jazz bass type

the P bass was something i started over a year ago and hav'nt finished really. It consists of a mighty might neck which i think is P bass in profile and an alder body with a quilt maple finish, not sure of the manufacture of the body though i'm affraid. The pickup is a set of EMG Select P bass pickups which i recycled from another bass i had in the past and despite they being the cheap EMG knock offs they sound ruddy marvelous. they need to be wired up with the rest of the circuit and thats it.

There is a bit if cosmetic damage to the neck and the body where i've been a bit overzellous with the drill, i have repaired the holes in the fret board reasonalbly well i think and the hole in the body is on the back so nobody is gonna see it anyway. I've included picktures with the damage.

I'd like to get around £50 for this one with postage on top

THE PBASS HAS BEEN SOLD PENDING PAYMENT

The Jazz bass is a Saxon jazz bass copy which i picked up in september last year and had been using it as a practice thing since but has now become surplus to requirement. It has a little bit of damage to the neck joint from where i removed the neck in order to shim it, i've tried to show the damage in the pictures. I have also added a bridge cover. The neck on the jazz is pretty good but does need attention in the form of a fret dress and level, hence why i've listed it as a project bass. The bass come with Wilkinson J bass style pickups which in my opinion are pretty hot sounding.

I'd be looking for around £100 for this one with postage on top

and Finally.....

for possible sale or trade (depending what i get offered ;-) ) I have a Yamaha BB414X in black. I've had this bass for around two months or so now and i think its a great bass in every respect, but i do find it a little to hi fi sounding and a bit modern compared with my other basses that i have. I'm a bit on the fence with this one at the moment which is why its up as a feeler, unless somebody could make me the right offer!!

I'd rather trade this bass as opposed to selling it.
I welcome any trade offers but I am after a straight up P bass be it Fender, Squire or any of the top quaility copies out there.

I hope i have provided as much as need but please feel free to message me with any questions and postage quotes as i need to figure them out accordingly.

Please feel free to message me with any offers as well

Thanks for looking

Just Added pictures of a Fretless jazz bass neck i have knocking around. See further down.

2. Good job on the bitsa dude!! The Varitones are awesome, i've got one in my Marcus Miller Jazz and it sounds the bomb. got it coupled with a set of DiMarzio ultra jazz pickups and i could'nt be happier with the sound. Great value bits of Kit!

3. Hey there my names Lloyd Griffiths and i'm relativly new to Basschat, so be kind :-)

This was up as a feeler so i could see if this post would generates any interest. I am now taking serious offers into concideration. Up for grabs is my much loved, well used Warwick $$ Corvette 5 string in natural finish. I've had this bass for the past 5/6 years and it has served me well through that time. It saw its main amount of used during my two year stint playing bass for Reading metal band Malefice and a fiar amount of use playing for my college jazz band.

However i feel the time has come for me to part ways with it, i'ts not getting the regular attention from me that it should and i've moved back to four strings. Like i said it has been well used and it has the scars to prove it (see images below). Despite these inflictions it still playes beautifully and sound great. Could do with a set up and new set of strings tho.

There is one major or minor problem with the bass (depends how u look at it) and thats with the volume pot. somehow oved time the pot has kind of threaded on itself resulting in the fully on postion now half way point. i still to this day don't know how this happened, but it has'nt bothered me that much so i hav'nt felt the need to repair it. I have removed the volume knob from the bass as u can see in the images, but i will put it back on before trading. Here is a link to the pickup manufatures website, inorder to purchase a volume pot if you should wish to do so.

Despite its bumps and knocks, its still a great playing bass with bags of character.

Ideally i wound like to Trade my warwick as opposed to selling it, but i am now putting it up for sale until 2morrow night as i do have interest for a trade. Asking price is

£500 plus postage

Basses i would be interested in trading for include:
Fender Aerodyne jazz
Fender P bass
fender P bass special
Ibanez ATK 4 String

All the above would have to be in decent nick, and some images would be nice. Any other questions, offers etc Please feel free to message me!!!!

Thanks for your time and attention.
