1.
I think its the actual volume of the tracks. I did remix this track and lowered the overall volume - nothing to do with the actual quality of the sound going in though
Ah fair enough :)

  2.
Me too, there's nothing wrong with it at all. I only ever use the mic input and its fine. I do use a Griffin Garageband cable which is a cheap, good quality cable designed for the job. Shell out for an interface if you want, but with a bit of patience, and by using some of the bass and eq presets that ship with Garageband you won't go wrong. Here's an example of my Traben going through the mic input only:

I don't know if it's an effect you were using or the cheapy speakers on my second computer i'm listening to this on but that sounded very distorted in parts to me???

  3.
Ha ha ha!!! Yes, I agree! - Now, I can quite believe that with the acceleration of technology that the NEW Pods sound better/feel better than previous models. It's the same as computers and laptops getting faster, so they can number crunch and do more *stuff* - The marketing though? Hmmm, I guess it's trying to catch people with those buzz words of the moment. I'm about to build the new HD iTone Cloud technology Neo Bass cabinets, matching amps and pickups. This new rig will make you sound, feel and even look like your heros.
The worst case i've ever seen this on was a hoover washing machine (total crap) when I did a stint working in retail ages ago. When I asked the hoover rep what HD stood for she said "High Door, so it's easier to get you load in and out see". That is truly shameless, still a crap washing machine.

  4. I'm not to sure about Blackstar as a brand any more. I know alot of guitarist's who have amps and/or peddles and they have all broken down with the exception of one friend who has the top of the range blackstar head, interestingly thats the only amp made in the UK as well! Not too sure where the peddles are made but have seen 2 out of 2 stop working. As a positive I must say in all cases blackstar customer service was excellent and they had a fixed product with in 2 weeks.

Sorry matey, I don't have a case for this bass (currently own 7 basses and only have 3 cases lol) so don't want to risk it. Would prefer a collection
If I can sell my bass, I'm having this!
Ah cool beans. i'm surprised it hasn't gone already at this price lol

  6. Ok bit of a biggun this. Purchased to see how i'd get on with 8 strings (got carried away looking at 6 strings) before spending mega money on one. The make is Galveston which I can't find a whole lot about. As you can see 8 separate, not paired strings. I've currently got it tuned EBEADGBE (so I didn't get confused with guitar). It's active and passive using the pull pot volume control. Sound wise for a budget 8 string it's pretty good. It could do with a new set of strings though. To the purchaser I would recommend tuning thickest string to F# as at the moment the low string is so low there is hardly any tonal difference between the first 3 notes. Although it's big it will just about fit in a loose fitting gig back. Down points are the mark near the jack socket and the gold is wearing off the tuning pegs. Also I took the truss rod cover off a few months back and can't now find it
Reason for sale is that it just doesn't get played (as you can see with the layer of dust). I find that with my back trouble(twisted spine) it is way too heavy for me. Just ask if you want more pics or info.

PRICE DROP £160, rock bottom price no offers and no postage.
    SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Not really sure how this happend.

  7. Got a Peavey Cirrus BXP neck through 5 string. Reason for sale is simply that I play my Yamaha more. The only downside is there is a small crack on the bass from I where it got dropped by mistake, hence the low asking price. Bass plays and sounds fine. Brand new rotosound strings. I would prefer pickup (west hertfordshire). Any more pics needed please just ask.

PRICE DROP DOWN TO £120. Had it up on here for a while now at £150ono and didn't really wanna take it this low but want to shift it now. I know its got a small bit of damage but this is a stupid cheap price, would make an awesome first bass for someone. Please don't offer me anything less than £120 as the answer will be a short two letter word :)

NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD

EDIT: I've had a lot of PM's in the last few moments on this bass asking for shipping. I've actually got an old hardcase here which I no longer want any more and is taking up space. To make the deal even more stupidly cheap The buyer (be it postage or collection) is welcome to the case, I will only ship with the case as I do not want to risk it getting damaged though. I will only charge you what it costs me for postage, i'm not out to make money here like some e-bay sellers are.

note there is a slight crack between rear covers
