I bought a used Gary Levenson Bass about 2 years ago, tonight I decided to remove the back plate to spray the pots etc and in the back I discovered A BATTERY when I bought it I did not know it was an active bass, which I assume it is, When I got it I contacted the company and they replied telling me when it was made etc but never mentioned it either, are all levenson guitars active Mike

After long deliberation I have ordered the Zoom B 2 1 U, so until it arrives (from Thomann) I am learning what I can about it. does anyone use the Cubase that seems to be included, what does it do and how do you use it,

Greetings Cameron, Welcome to the Basschat, I have been having lessons for about 4 months now, I am also looking for a suitable multi effects Pedal, think its going to be the Zoom B2 1 U, as its got everything I need like Usb, Drums, MP3 input to play along etc. Have a look at it. What made you start with a Five string ?

Just when I had decided on the Line 6 Floor Bass Pedal, they have been discontinued, (except at silly Prices) I have been looking now at the Digitech BP80 for just over £70, any one had any experience of that pedal

Having decided I want a Zoom Effects pedal I have been looking at the differences Price wise and spec wise between the B2 with and without Pedal and the B1 With and without. Has any one got one, or had one and wished they had got the other The Price Difference is from about £60 to £109 which one is best value, will I use the USB if I get it ?

When I started Bass Lessons, I told the teacher, I dont want to take exams, I just want to learn to play. Then When I went for my first lesson, I discovered he was going to teach me BASS CLEF !.But I persevered and now I can read bass clef, Then Last week he said have you ever heard of rock school, heard a bit but did not know anything about it. Did I fancy having a look at the exam pieces. So Now I think, why Not have a go Anyone here Taken a Rock School Exam, how was it for you.

When I started lessons on Bass, I had never read Bass Clef before, I knew what the notes were, but not enough to sight read them.My Teacher started straight away with Bass Clef, which was a bit of a shock, but I decided to bite the bullet and learn it and now I am glad I did.
