1. Boxed Strymon Timeline - works brilliantly, but complicated delays just aren't for me. I can't find the official power supply, but they're easy enough to get, or power from a multi-supply like I do. £290 shipped
2. Massive long-shot, but do you still have this? Can’t find a replacement HD1 loom anywhere!!
3.
I've done a few, after an informal tutoring by someone I found out later is a brill Luther! Ground down nail pincers and a patient approach is the way to go. Where are you?
I'm in the West Midlands
4. So, I've got a fretless Jazz in the house, and it's cool - but I prefer 5 strings, so I've picked up a well-loved 5 string, and want to de-fret it, but don't know how. Somebody suggested just use a flap disc and angle grinder to take the tops off the frets and not worry about filling it in... Not sure I like that plan, so what's the best process to de-fret a bass? Cheers, Adam
5.
It's the same with trem-spring covers (or whatever you call them) on the backs of guitars. Firstly, why take them off? And secondly, why not put them back on after?
If you believe Eric Johnson - you can hear a tonal difference if the cover is on or off. His signature strat doesn't even come with a cover or holes drilled to add your own!!
6. So, I recently picked up a Yamaha RBX375 that's clearly had a very hard life. The bridge saddles are a weird design that are in 2 parts, half of which is missing from the G. Anyone know where I could get a replacement saddle and screw from? Pic for clarity
7. Not my sort of thing, having a bit of a clear out of gear that's not being used. Works fine, comes with original box, manual and power supply. Has XLR input for if you're into vocal and guitar looping and backing drum loops and sh*t... £50 by bank transfer/PayPal gift which includes postage.
8. This is a great sounding valve head - has some really great high-gain tones on tap. Clean channel is really smooth and warm - tone control can ramp up into really sparkly cleans if that's more your style. Comes with channel footswitch, speaker cable and kettle lead. Bad points - metal corners are slightly scuffed, one small scuff on front, I used silver gaffer tape on the back so I could attach my 16 Ohm speaker cab in low light, has left a sticky residue on the back. There things are about £400 new - I'm looking for about [s]£300[/s] £270 cash I'm based in Walsall, West Midlands.
9. If you're after collection - where are you based?
10.
EHX Bass Micro Synth Won this on Ebay Sunday thinking it was what I needed for my new bands sound, after playing around with it for 2 days in band scenario and in private it pains me to say that as cool as it is I can find no use for it. I'm willing to trade for an envelope filter which is what I'll benefit from most, but open to trades or if not will deliver UK for £120 which is what I paid. Didn't come with original box but I will make sure its boxed and packaged securely. Can take photos if required EHX Micro Q-Tron Looking for a more in-depth envelope filter so looking to move this one along, comes with box. £35 posted UK? I think thats a bargain Again, can post photos if required Thanks
PM'd re: Q-tron
11.
There's a possibility I'll be swayed into buying it though.
Go for it, you know you want it... (Also, bump)
12.
I miss this :-(
You're welcome to buy it back
13.
Where are you based?
Walsall, West Midlands. Can post at buyer's expense!
14. Selling my 5-string OLP Stingray. It's a crazy-awesome blue colour - and sounds great. There's a couple of dings in the headstock, and a weird black mark or two on the back of the body - but nothing that affects the way it plays or sounds. I'm looking for £175 + postage - although would entertain trades for a Fretless 5 string or a pedalboard and power supply. NOW SOLD!
15. It's cheap, it's plastic... It's yours for £10 posted.
16.
Or you could do it yourself Not too difficult at all.
I could, but I am almost entirely hopeless with things like that... I'd sooner pay a bit to get someone who knows what they're doing to sort it, rather than have me cock it up!
