!!!!!!!!!!!!SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi there,
Begrudginly I have decided to sell my beloved Warwick Thumb NT4. I bought it 3 years ago from the gallery in London, used to belong to Mike Flynn (URB on here). It served me incredibly well, but I simply don't have use for it any more. I have moved onto more traditional tones!
It was made in 1990, so it's one of the early ones, back when they were better made with better woods. This one was modded before I bought it with a lovely Schack 3-band eq, which is fully configurable to get the precise frequencies you want, so it is incredibly versatile. You can achieve a huge range of tones, all as lovely as the last...haha! It also has an ebony ramp and a hipshot Xtender, both of which have been very useful throughout it's life.
It is in very good condition, but it has been well used by both me and mike so has expected signs of wear. Only two particularly obvious dings, which I haven't treated, but i am sure could be got out with the correct love and attention. The worst is on the bottom near the jack socket so not really visable unless you are really looking for it. And the other next to the strap pin, again unoticable unless you really search. See the pics for both.
So overall a lovely instrument, I will be very sad to see it go, especially as it is from my birth-year. For sale, as it has a lot of extras I would be looking for around the £1100 mark, plus postage whatever that would be (around £20 I imagine). You are welcome to pick it up in person, or I can meet in London at pretty much any tube station. You are welcome to come and try it out, I live in Aylesbury, and we will offer you tea/coffee/beer etc! I will provide the gig bag it came with, in working condition, but needs updating really.
For trade I am only really interested in jazz's vintage or 5-string. Might be able to offer cash either way for the right deal, so tempt me with what you have!
Here is the original thread from Mike which has a little bit more information about the history of the instrument.

Thank you for looking, enjoy the pictures, as you can see it is a lovely bass! If you want more pics I can send more if you give me your email address.
All the best,
Jamie
