Guidlines from Ped - the Root admin of the site - Guidelines to buyers point 4 seems to say it all - and I have to say personally I agree - if I had something to sell I would welcome constructive criticism on a post if the price were not appropriate - i would also welcome the opportunity to discuss my pricing in public. The key really being that it is done in a constructive non aggressive respectful manner -

Item number: 220185702548
these seem pretty good to me ? -
Whether you agree with the tactics or not - there have already been 10+new posts on this bass - the original seller has been mentioned by name the story has been retold again and already reached a new audience - I would say this guy is being pretty smart and is doing exactly what he is intending to do in a very calm calculated way
-
It is a lovely bass - isnt it quite sensible to ask how much you want for it?
-
I am liking that quantam a lot - let me know if yu are taking a punt on that one because i am very tempted
-

Apologies to any genuine bass players in Aberdeen but there does seem to be an unusually large ebay using bass community there! -

I am considering making a custom pickguard for my lakland 4-94 and know that there are a few companies who will make them from templates but a bit unsure about this and considering buying a blank and having a go myself - just wondered if anyone has done this - if so how? what tools did you use? and what were the results?
advice gratefully received
cheers -
Hi no dents no scrapes - one mans good condition is another mans very good condition! - I appreciate the question - i always tend to be conservative in my descriptions of things to be honest and I had intended to post pics by now but just been a bit tied up - I will post them by tomorrow am which will be the easiest way of showing its condition
cheers
Terry -
Yes - thats mine for sale - I reckon its the best cab i have owned and one of the best out there- just not using it - I reckon you will love it - even more so when you pick it up!
-
Epifani UL310 - good condition - I have owned it from new - it has been gigged but has been looked after - I will post pics tomorrow - it is probably the best cab I have owned - great sound easy lift - but nearly all my gigs are now through PA so this is just not getting used - for sale £500 delivered
cheers -
thats a good score - let us know what its like when you get it
nice one -
I have to say that does look rather nice
-
been reading this thread with interest - could I ask any schroeder users what are these cabs like as personal monitors - I currently have an epifani ul310 which is a really great sounding cab but the problem I find is that in a lot of venues where space on stage is at a premium and i am DI'ing through a PA the sound from the epi shoots past me at about knee level and it is sometimes difficult to hear myself play. Does the schroeder cab with an angled speaker overcome this - can you hear yourself clearly stood right in front of the cab? be grateful for opinions - thanks
-
I have to say that is a very good spot IMHO this is a scam and a reasonably sophisticated one
-
Met Steve through the forum and have dealt with him on a number of occasions now buying or selling - he is a top guy and great to deal with has some lovely gear if you ever get to collect and will have the added pleasure of some good bass related chat!
-
I would take it anyday! fantastic
-
I own a GK 1001rb 1x15 combo and these really are good amps - I am pretty sure whoever buys this if you are happy with the price you will not be disapointed
-
Yes I have had Johhny Kincade set up my bass/basses a couple of times he is not the cheapest (usually about £60) for set up fret clean stone wash etc but he is fantastic - a real craftsman- he will deal with anything guitar/bass related except electrics. well worth a try imho

Glad thats turned up for you!! look forward to the review
Lakland Duck Dunn
in Basses For Sale
Posted
Decided I have to get rid of some basses so going to list a few over the next few days. Selling this one is the hardest decision but there we go!
Lakland Skyline Duck Dunn - as new condition eg 10/10 I bought this new from Basscentral about five months ago - has a Fralin pick up -bass sounds fantastic - plays really well with a very low action - Lakland padded gig bag (about £50 extra) included - as I said immaculate condition - looking for £600 - welcome to try out - not looking for trades as I really need to reduce the number of basses
Any further info required please ask
cheers
