1. Now having bought a new amp I can give my brother-in-law back his Marshall Bass State B150. However, I have noticed that at some point the volume knob has been lost... This is a big ask, but has anyone got a spare knob (so to speak!) for a marshall combo? It's black with a kind of bronze/gold coloured front to it... Or, does anyone know where I can get another (that doesn't involve me purchasing a minimum of $40 from an American site!)? Yours hopefully, Rachel

Yay!

3. Rachel

Yay!

Just to let y'all know that I bought the Warwick Tubepath 5.1 with the 2x10 and 1x15 cabs. Sounds great and I CAN'T WAIT to gig with it - shame I don't have one til the 25th June, that's AGES away! A BIG thank you to all who contributed their thoughts and expertise - it was most welcome, and thanks to Mat, it was a pleasure doing business with you! Job done - phew! Over and out, Rachel x
4. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=88995 Good? With the Eden 2x12? It runs at 2 ohms as well so does that mean I could add another 4 ohm speaker then if I needed to?
5. Hi guys, I'm going up to see the Warwick rig next Monday, so I'll let you know what happens! Thanks!
6. Hmmm... can't find any second hand Mark Bass amps at the mo tho...I did have a look, but all out of my budget by the time I've bought a cab as well...
7. So...are we thinking the Warwick rig is still the best bet? Ok... just got pulled in by that last one, looks so lovely and light... but I appreciate that the cab isn't so powerful... Cheers Lawrence.
8. Oh my good lord... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=87870 This looks good too... with the 1x15 it's currently paired with, or possibly with the Eden 2x12? YOu lot got me thinking with your comments on the LMII with the Eden you see, and then I found a really big thread on here singing the praises of the GenzBenz Shuttle6... Tempted by such a teeny little lightweight thing...
9. Right - it's crunch time! Following much thought, I've narrowed it down to one of these two possibilities: The Warwick rig: Warwick tubepath 5.1 with 1x15 and 2x10 -£700 for the whole lot. Pros: Can mix and match for different sized gigs (but will a 2x10 be enough?), a complete package, decent price. OR The David Eden 2x12 cab - £330. Pros: Good make, 2x12 is going to sound pretty hefty I would hope, should cope with most situations. Just one thing to load into car! I would pair this with a GK 700 RB-II. Cons - the cab is 4ohms so wouldn't be able to add anything, but then, would I need to? This has got to be it - what would you recommend? Nearly there boys, what a journey!!! Rachel x
10. Hey, that was helpful, JTUK! Yes, the trouble I have now is that I have gone from having no idea whatsoever, to not being able to choose! I have just gone back to look at the Warwick rig...it does look good, and like you said, it's a complete package. How does Warwick rate? It would seem that I would get the depth and clarity from the Dr Bass cab... and it's cheap...but of course I haven't bought the amp yet. Eden... looks very nice, wouldn't be able to add anything to it as it's 4ohms, but then, I don't have anything else! But would I need to add more to this? Just waiting for a few replies to PMs... Decisions, decisions!
11. HAve sent you a PM - thanks.
12. It's lighter than what I'm using at the moment, so that's good! Am very tempted by the 2x12... I think it seems like a good halfway house between the 15 and 10s, plus it seems like a good brand AND it isn't too heavy... unless that Dr BAss one has a major plus point that I haven't considered (apart from the price, obv!)... Think I need to buy something fairly soon as I'm driving my husband mental...
13. Thanks guys - that does look good! And a great price, too. This is what I found last night, I think it looks pretty sweet, what do you lot think? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=78972 Cheers x
