1. Just played the Cavern again. They've installed a new K-Array PA which we thought looked ace and sounded great with the acoustic-y fella on before us....

Halfway though our second song, the right "array" died and smelled like it was on fire. We had to use our JBL Eon 15 for the right side for the rest of the evening. Then, first song into our second set, the left one starts to smell like fire, so we unplugged it, got their original PA cab out and used that instead! So, eventful! Nice people at the Cavern though, so we got it sorted and soldiered on.

Back up in 5 hours....need to wind down....

  2. Finally, I've got our Alesis io26, firewire interface.

Good little interface, but we quite fancy the M-Audio Project Mix to give us some DAW control as well as the 8 mic pres.

In very good condition with the PSU. £170 delivered to the UK, but I will need to wait for the other gear to sell before letting this go as we need all the cash for the Project Mix!

  3. Up for sale is our Lexicon MX300, stereo reverb/multi-effects unit.

It's in excellent condition, just some light marks from being inserted into the rack. Very versatile and sounds great, especially on vocals, but can be used on instruments (including bass!!) too.

Some blurb from the website: http://www.lexiconpr...duct.php?id=145

£160 including postage to the UK.

  4. Ok, next up, got a Studiomaster Club 2000 142 mixer.

10 XLR Mic Pres and 2 stereo channels, 2 Aux, tape in/tape out etc...

It's older than some, but works really well, no scratchy pots or faders and does a very good job in live situations. I found our vocals to be warm and clean. Warmer than through our Yamaha desk, certainly.

Anyways, £55 including delivery to the UK.

  5. I've got some stuff to sell, here's a big flightcase rack thing, which has 12U of storage, a 2U cubby hole and room for a fairly deep 19" mixer (it fits out Yamaha MG166CX mixer). The top comes off to reveal the mixer and it's fully lockable.

It does need some rack nuts and bolts, they're very cheap on eBay or other respected retailers.

Pretty big thing, so collection only, although it's not massively heavy.

    £50.
