hey guys,

looking to spend about £250 to £300. Really dont know too much about them and only played a couple. Need to sort something as band doing a few chilled accoustic sets and i'm loving the idea of having an accoustic lying around the house to pick up and mess around with. Any pointers of ones to avoid and things to look out for?

i'm assuming chris from muse uses a bass synth and other effects for hysteria, but how am i gonna get the fuzz like that on a budget of a single pedal? Sorry to hijack

yeah good call, mammoth is only for passive basses too.

how about the woolly mammoth, bit pricey but keeps a nice warm low end through. tried one out a few weeks back but dont have to funds to buy one. it was real nice though.
