5.
Interesting, what's the string spacing? It's really easy to measure, just take a ruler to the strings, and measure from the centre of one string to the next - do this at the bridge (for the bridge spacing - the most often quoted), at the nut (for the nut spacing) and at the 12th fret (this spacing can be worked out from the other two, but most of us don't have the formulae or charts from which this might be deduced. God luck, I'm sure you'll find a home for it. Btw, how is your Stagg EUB for bowing? And is the intonation regular up the fingerboard?
Hey! The EUB playing is going well, I have a cheap bow which is okay but I don't really practice it enough to make a decent sound. On the 6 string bass side of the things...the string spacing at the 12th fret and bridge end is 19mm and at the nut it is 10mm. I hope all is well your end
 6. Some interest so far but nothing concrete. Buuuuuuuummp!
 7. I just bought an SE1A microphone off Dave. A very nice chap, great communication and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks mate! Dave
Cheers Jamie, If they all bought it, then they would have to share it like a community bass....hmmmm....you could be on to something
 9.
Hi, it's still valid?
Hi there, by 'valid' do you mean for sale? Its still here. Are you interested? Thanks, Dave
 10.
Hi there, I definitively agree, these were amazing basses, I had one with 5 strings and it was the best purchase I ever made. I´m not a 6 string person, but would you consider trade this one for a Fender Precision American Deluxe?Have a look. Photobucket For what I read earlier, I´m afraid it´s not rosewood and it´s not fretless... Cheers.
Hey lucatus, Thanks for the offer mate but I really want something rosewoody. Looks like an awesome bass tho! Shame I'm not after something like that. Take care Dave
 11.
These are very good basses good tone and playability, also nice solid feel to them - I have one and they are a great first 6 string bass and you can still be happily playing them after you have become a hardened pro. Best of luck with the sale - how's EUB working out by the way. Hope the course is going well.
Hey! Thanks for the bump! Yeh these are great basses, shame I'm not using it really. The Stagg is doing great and the course is going really well at the moment. Its hard work but I'm staying on top of things. I hope you are well!
 12. Cheers fellas, much appreciated! Dave
 13.
morning is this the one with the 35 inch scale? Do you know the date of manufacture? Also, how much does it weigh? Cheers, Nick
Hi there! Yeh it has a 35" scale. I'm not sure on the exact weight as I dont have any scales at home but I've found it comfortable having gone from playing a 4 string bass to this. I've had some interest from a basschatter and I was saying to him that I have been happy to play 2x45 minute sets without any problem at all. The serial number is 9FN2163 so I believe thats 1999. I'm not clear on how to read them but that's what I've found out from research. I hope this helps. Here is some more info on the bass from the yamaha website http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical-ins...6ii/?mode=model Cheers mate Dave
