The only reason I haven't just gone out and got one of them is the price! When ah were a lad ah could ave bought five guitars for t' price o' one o' them! On the other hand, I realise there is always an element of you get what you paid for.

    Does anyone have any recommendations for soundhole pickups for an acoustic guitar? I have a nice Ayers AS that I got a few years ago with no intention of ever using it amplified. Of course, now I want to use it amplified, but I don't want to go drilling holes in it. So, what actually works and doesn't produce feedback and gives a halfway ok sound? Thanks, John

    Ok, folks, one last price drop. If I can't get £1995 for my lovely Wal here, I'll try eBay or a shop, and the price will go up to pay the commission. So whatever happens, it won't be available anywhere else for this price.

    Hi folks, Does anyone know where I might be able to try out a Kinal MK-B? I'm considering getting one as part of a trade, but it's a long way away. So it's a damn cheeky request, but I'd like to try one out that was a bit closer to home, to see how it feels. Maybe some shop somewhere has one? Or perhaps some proud Kinal owner would like to do their bit to tempt me into the Kinal ownership club? I live in London, but regularly travel to Bristol, so anywhere between the two would be great.     [font="Arial Black"][size=4]+++ Sold +++[/size][/font] I've decided to sell my fretless Wal, since I hardly play it these days, and I need some cash. It's a Mk.I Custom, built in 1986, serial no. W2691. It has a body of Brazilian mahogany with American walnut facings, an unlined Indian ebony fingerboard (with side dots), and gold hardware. As far as I can tell, it is all original. It's in good condition, but not cosmetically perfect: there are some areas of wear on the top, some buckle marks on the back, and a few other dents and scratches. All the electronics are working, with even volume across the strings. I think it looks better in real life than in these photos, but I don't have a digital camera good enough for the job. Sadly there is no matching Wal hardcase, but it comes with a Rockbag softcase. I'm looking for [b]£1995[/b], and the buyer will have to collect from London (Kennington area). If you have a decent quality small practice amp looking for a home, I'd consider a part-exchange deal. And although I really shouldn't, I might even consider a part-exchange deal for a nice mid-range fretted 5- or 6-string. Please PM me if you are interested.     Thanks to everyone for showing an interest in this. The double bass banjo of doom has now found a new home. Next up, must get serious about selling my Wal Mk I fretless...
