Sounds good! I've got betweetered MB stuff, from before JB signed up with them, but it still does old skool, no problem. Flatwound strings help a lot!

I've been happy with my CMD121H for 11 years now. Added the 'correct' Traveler 121H and it's such a great rig. And of course, the combo is great on its own too!

Certainly, a 2x15 is better for "impressive"! And it sounded AWESOME!

A Hash House Harriers annual bash - very good crowd of about 60, all willing to have fun and dance, and all in space-themed fancy dress! Quite a few Arthur Dents - bit of an easy option, methinks...

If I had the wherewithal, I'd replace my Traveler 121H with one. That would give me a 3x12 4ohm rig!

Going to put these on my bitsa P. It sounds a bit stodgy compared with the Chromes on the other bass. However, they are nearly 30 months old, and have been slackened off a few times for neck swaps.
Much as I love the BB414, it's a bit of a lump for me, and if these can boost the presence of the P, I'll be a happy man!

Ours, a 40th party, loads of people we know, so it went on a bit, but very enjoyable!

What I put in mine is the whole shebang, that's what goes out with me. Don't possess enough living space for any more, literally.

For me, it was the first time hearing any music on a half decent hifi. This would have been 1967, so Sgt Peppers got thrashed for a whole summer holidays. Along with Ars Longa, Vita Brevis by the Nice.

Another P pickup. In my experience, the only 'J' pickup that can keep up with a P is the Yamaha BB bridge pickup, but not easy to buy those. So if getting the router out is on the horizon, go the whole hog and go P-P...
