The neck profile on these is so nice. Looks like you got a nice clean one, congrats!

Also fair play to Rich Tone Music, I paid for this yesterday after lunch and it was with me in under 24h.

Been curious about these since they were released a few years ago, as I much prefer the RG style to the Soundgear range, and a fretted 5 was a hole in my collection. When I spotted this I had to take a punt. It's black, it's got a pointy headstock and sharkfin inlays, and it cost less than a Squier. What more do you need.
It plays nicely, although we'll see how low the action can go, and sounds fine (although first impression is that the preamp does SFA). Neck's not as flat as I'd expected/hoped for based on the reputation of their guitar necks. The headstock also survived me immediately twatting it into the attic roof as I was unpacking it unscathed🙄
Good for metal innit. Although the skull volume knob might be a step too far.

I have a Legend 6 that was rewired to passive and it is very quiet and the tone knobs don't do an awful lot, I think a preamp might be the way to go.
-
Aha! Different name but looks like the same band and bass???
-
I think it might be a Tune, based on the body shape? Can't find any 8 strings or trems on their site though...

Interesting, I wonder if it's mainly to warm people up for a reintroduction of the BXP range at a more attainable price point.

I did have to print that off to take to the shop when I got mine serviced. Unbelievable amounts of treble on tap there.

Yeah I can only assume they're hoping people are nostalgic for the original high end Cirrus line?
-
Nice score, that's a prettier top than the slightly wonky quilt I have on mine. I always assumed these were 34", I should probably check that.

I have to say I didn't see this one coming

And at that price it's unlikely I'll ever see one on person. They still look pretty though...

I guess whoever manufactures for Warwick, I don't know if that helps matters...

Live footage of me installing another metal drum VST
(thanks for the heads up!)

I've not gone far but I had someone drive at least several hundred miles from (somewhere in) England to collect a double bass from me in Glasgow, despite him apparently not having played before.

Hi. Just made this account to leave a comment on this post. Is this still available?
I'm afraid not, forgot to close this when it sold, sorry!

I do sometimes wonder how much of the tobacco sunburst on my dad's 1969 Tele is actual tobacco...
That's a good result though, well done!

Do you know the scale lengths? I assume ~35-33"?

Bought some fret-wraps from Si, super quick delivery. Thanks mate!

Is this the regular length?

A forerunner of the Legend line from the early 2000s iirc?
I do have a Legend 6 awaiting a preamp swap which will necessitate replacing the knobs, at which point I would have some spare Spector ones, but it's been waiting on that for months now so I wouldn't like to promise anything 😬

Good lord. Unfortunate typo when putting the spec sheet together? 😅
What's the tuning on it?
-
Interesting choice... Looks great though, that purple is lovely.

Unless you have something very specific in mind I'd be looking second-hand -- £1500 will buy you a real top-end bass if you let someone else take the hit of buying new.

Yeah sadly these ones were any colour as long as it's black, but this will do me until I can find something even pointier
