waltsdog Posted July 11, 2010 Share Posted July 11, 2010 (edited) I really didn't want to sell this bass but I need to free up some cash for an MOT so this has to go. 2006 Trans orange with a matching headstock, it's really well set up (for me anyway) with a fairly new set of DR lowriders. It has a Nordstrand MM 4.2 which is a very good pickup (although I really cant tell the difference between this and my other stingray) one of the pole pieces has some discolouration as you can see in the pictures, it may well come off with a bit of a clean. The neck looks a little flamed in places and feels great to play. Overall it is in excellent condition, I have managed to chip the lacquer on the top of the headstock (see pics) but it's not bad. It has a Hipshot d-tuner on it but the original machine head is with it as well. I've hardly used the bass since I've had it, it's been to a few practices and that's about it. It seems to have been very well looked after by it's previous owners as well. Comes with the standard hard case which is in perfect condition. Price is now £700 as is collected, or £725 posted as long as paypal fee's are paid. Higgie Posted July 11, 2010 Share Posted July 11, 2010 This used to be mine and I can vouch for it being an amazing bass. You won't find a better example of a Stingray 4. I can also vouch for Kieran being a good guy to deal with! I'd be having this back if I had the spare funds, but alas, it's not possible, so someone snatch this beautiful bass up!
