OK, I know the rules about feelers but I've been offered a [s]short[/s] medium scale - 32" Fender Japan Jazz Bass
So I thought I'd sound out the interest before getting it in from Japan. I've not seen a short scale Fender Jazz before.

It's a 62RI, Black with white plate, Alder body, rosewood fingerboard, earth strip, 20 frets, Weighs 9lbs
1993 ish, Japanese hardware and pickups. Not sure on the nut width.
Dust cover gig bag.

It's going to be around £400 plus the post (from Cardiff, not from Tokyo :) )

Any interest?

Edited to change short to medium...

Well, actually medium scale not short (30).
The 32" contradicts of course the RI title but nonetheless .......
Excellent basses and of high quality too.
Not to mention quite rare.
Nut is (if I remember well) at 38mm as usual.
I was quite obsessed with medium scales and I used to have a Fender Stu Hamm MIM (the 32" one) and I still have the PB-555 MIJ and an amazingly competent for its price SX Gypsy Rose (with wonderful Toneriders on it).
I think everyone has to try a medium scale. Especially if they come in such quality as this one.

Sorry for jumpin in.......

Thanks, I'll amend the post to say medium scale.
It's not a real re-issue, of course, just a general nod in the direction of the early 6o's style .. :)
