However, many people will rather play 5-string bass... So I am willing to trade my Variax for a 4-string jazz or precision bass. I will consider everything with four strings in this price range (a friend of mine bought this for $1399 new). It has been gigged, but I could find any noticeable damage to finish or bass in general, so it is in quite good condition.
