derrenleepoole Posted April 28, 2010 Share Posted April 28, 2010 (edited) Bought a Shine Violin Bass of Tom1946 about 6(?) weeks ago on here, and it's now no longer needed as I've sourced a bass more to my requirements. The Shine Violin bass is a superb instrument, and is capable of a lot of tones, more so than you'd believe from such a small hollowed bodied instrument - not just your typical Beatles vibe. The bass is in mint condition and is nicely finished for a budget instrument, and comes complete with an Italia gig bag (full scale - worth a bit in its own right). The bass, for all intents and purposes is just like new, and I'm looking to recoup the cost of it, which was a very respectable £65 collected, or £80 posted using my works courier (so fully insured etc) - I believe the bass retails new for about £165 ish, so a very good saving.
