I bought a sister sledge live CD, from a market stall, back in 96, its still on my ipod , and he,s on bass, absolutely brilliant player, very aggresive modern tone and great chops, i believe he played warwick basses (i think i read that somewhere) he was/is the band MD i particularly liked his bass solo where he played the theme to "blue peter" he did try to reinvent bernard edwards lines though. you cant reinvent the wheel as it were.
Very good though - all the best - lee

That'll be the one I've got then ! I thought that was well strange that he took the songs & re-jigged the basslines. Weird. I actually thought it sounded like a MM Stingray.... goes to show how much I know ! :)
