Early Ashdown cabinets on their sides

I have just bought a ABM210 with the round handles and always thought I would use it on its side. I noticed and have read about the handle problem.
Problem solved! If you unscrew the alloy surround, it reveals the round handle and 2 more bolts. If you undo these and reverse the handle, it becomes flush with the recess. Then screw back the alloy surround and it all looks like it should do, only flush with the side.
If you want more protection, but don't want to drill the cover, you can screw some more rubber feet by removing the screw holding on the corner and replacing it with a longer screw through the foot.
If you are visually fussy, you can also remove the badge by drilling out the rivets and either turn/move it or leave it off. ( To do this, it is better to remove the grill first )

All in all, a cracking job, and totally reversible if needs be!
