Supposedly a clone of the Shin-ei Duo-Fuzz (aka the Shaftesbury Duo-Fuzz). I haven't compared it yet (I don't have a PP3 to hand!), but it's immense. Sounds like an inferno. redzombie Posted December 26, 2009 Share Posted December 26, 2009 I think I vaguely remember Justin Meldal-Johnson mentioning these over on talkbass. Basically, If I remember right, he said something along the lines of them being pretty outrageous and great for getting those good old Jesus & Mary Chain fuzz tones. He did also include however, that an EQ pedal would probably be required after one to replace the bass suck caused by the Super Fuzz. The Wattson SuperFuzz (nka Classic Fuzz), in tone position 2 Apologies (i) to people with perfect pitch (I didn't tune to concert pitch before recording these bits), and (ii) the late great Hugh Hopper for choosing a couple of his riffs to approximate to for thie purpose of this comparison Have fun! - Nick.
