guybrush threepwood Posted December 8, 2009 Share Posted December 8, 2009 I used a couple of incredible amplifiers on Sunday, both in very different veins... We were recording a demo all day, and the studio had a 1967 Fender Bassman... all I can say is yum. What an incredible sound! Then had a gig in the evening, and just before I left the house got a call saying I didn't need to take my rig, as there was one provided... It was Mark Bass - a tiny little thing that put out some serious power and tone. Although it was a little clean for my taste, I was amazed by how much sound it provided... It's really making me consider making the jump to lightweight, Class D gear. Anyone got any advice? I love the idea of the new Orange amp - I'd definitely want valves in the preamp...
