I specialize in rock/metal tuition, but am happy and able to cater for all other styles - including jazz, funk, solo bass, motown reggae, hardcore etc - and techniques including pop/slap, tapping, sweep arpeggios, pick/fingerstyle, sight reading, and music theory if you wish. I can teach out of my home in Ashton-under-Lyne, Music Ground in Manchester or MCC Studios in Mottram, depending on where is best for you. I can also travel to you, although this may incur additional travel costs. My first lesson is a free half-hour session and every lesson after that is a mere £15 per hour, with the free lesson being used to get to know one another and decide what you want to take from the lessons and improve in your playing. I won't patronise you and force jazz down your neck if you want to learn some AC/DC songs, and I won't give you Slayer transcriptions if you're into Weather Report. Lessons are given in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere! Whatever you choose to learn I'll help support your choice, however we might have to bump into some theory along the way so I'll make it as palatable as possible.
