blazer3 Posted October 5, 2009 Share Posted October 5, 2009 Seeing as my necks none to clever ( see "Disaster" thread ) i was thinking of keeping the old tuners as they dont look in bad nick,just a little grubby and stiff, there the open geared types and they can be packed up awaiting the next project ( yes the bug has bitten ). 7string Posted October 5, 2009 Share Posted October 5, 2009 If they're just a little dirty, try cleaning with a toothbrush and naptha (lighter fluid). If that doesn't work then soak in a mixture of naptha with a couple of drops of 3-in-1 oil. That cleans and lubricates them at the same time.
