jmsjabb
Hi all. I have been offered a HIWATT CUSTOM 50 head and was wondering what you guys thought of them with Warwicks and myAsh corvette. The reason I ask is it is miles away so don't want to keep the guy waiting ages for me to collect if it is not a good match
Mr. Foxen
Probably a much better match for my franken-P copies (see Entwhistle), should probably send it my way. Not sure Warwicks and Hiwatts are generally associated, really depends on the sound you are after more than the gear you have.
littleal
I've used my warwick thumb through a hiwatt custom 100 with a trace elliot 4x10 with horn (1048h i think) & it sounded awsome, very thick warm sound with enough percussive bite for slapping & never sounded muddy, i would have another hiwatt but prices for the original ones are quite high, oh & they are loud!! joegarcia
That the one on Ebay? Listed as a bass amp but it's not I don't think, not that it matters.
