This Amp is not well known, which everyone who has played it could definitely not understand.
Plug in your bass, set the eq flat and you will have one of the best tones you ever had!
You need headroom? You will never have e need for headroom with this beast.
But also with living room settings this amp provides you with a true and honest sound, which is often compared to glockenklang.

This amp is in a mint condition, i sell it because i have 2 amps this one and an ampeg.
Due to leaving my band and less money i have to sell 1 of them.

Please be so kind to read reviews at harmony central:

this amp is defintely one of the best amps i ever played..and i tried them all..
also this one:

Looks like a good value-for-money piece.

But putting out 700w into 8ohms.
Jeepers.

I have loadsa cabs, but all old school = 200-300-400w.

Pity, as it would take up the space left by the Mesa BB750.

What were you driving it into?

Hi Jeepers,

I played with this amp on big stages, small clubs and after getting the ampeg, i played it only at home into 2x10 hartke transporter which have, i think 200W.
due to i am not killed by my neighbours yet;), it is no problem to play the amp into small cabs or not at 120 decible..
i think it is a nice combination with old school cabs, this amp makes a really nice true sounding and honest bass sound, which will let you here every millimeter of your strings, fingers and wood.
when i was looking for an amp i was thinking of a glockenklang or this carvin b1500, after hours of checking and comparing both, i decided for this amp.
you will not get more value for money than with this one..of they have a better advertising and a more popular name in europe, they could sell this amp for more than twice the price.

if you like to i could send you a small soundfile, recorded with a zoom h2 at home, jazzbass into carvin into hartke cabs

Hey

So... a 500w 8ohm 2x15 might be OK? I have a Trace one and TGEvans has a Marshall/Sidewinder one (luv thoz!).

A soundfile might be useful - except that the Zoom will be sucking all the tone.

Is it all brittle and transaprent and hifi like a Glock or EBS?
(Important to knoow, 'cos I hate 'em both. :) )

These things are $699 in the USA. No distribution here, so who knows what would be fair.
Mebbe PM a ballpark?

Cheers
