G&L L-1000 pickup position

Hoping a kind Basschatter may be able to indulge my obsessive compulsiveness.

 

I'm building a Harley Benton Precision kit on which I plan to install a G&L MFD humbucker instead of a regular Precision pickup. I know that on an L-1000 the pickup is supposed to be in the P position, but I was hoping to get an actual measurement from an L-1000 to confirm.

 

So what I'm looking for is a measurement from the middle of the 12th fret to the center of the allen hole on the top row of pole pieces:

 

 

If anyone was able to do that I will drink a beer to your name!

290mm on the nose, I reckon!  Maybe 289.5, if you're splitting hairs.

Ah, you're a gent, thank you! That is definitely useful information - both my Precisions are 281mm to the middle of the pole pieces on the neck side of the pickup.
