EHX Bassballs - early Russian tall big box version £150 York

The Bassballs is one of my favourite pedals, and I've had lots of different versions. The sis one of the first Russian editions.

 

Originally in green, the paint switched to black, the foot switch changed to a more modern type, then they changed the switch from the big chunky one here to a more feeble thinner version, then, over time, the boxes got thinner and more matte pain finish.

 

Sound wise, this has a more 'robotic' feel than my first version. It's totally original, works great with battery and power supply. The bypass on these is brilliant; if not true bypass it's as clean as can be. 

 

Comes with original pine box and block of foam that they used to hold them in place, and warranty card.

 

The pedal is in great condition; the screws are a bit rough on the surface but they all are! If you open it up you can adjust the two filters (using a flat screwdriver) to create different sounds.
