Chris Maury Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Arguably, the Crown Jewel of Rickenbacker Basses! 4002 basses were made from 1977-1984 in only two different finishes. It's likely that less than 100 were ever built. Historically, the kicker is that very little has been written about these basses. And yes, a handful of Factory Special 4002-type basses have been sporadically made by Rickenbacker since 2013.
