When I read a thread, the '"Go to first unread post" icon next to the subject line changes from being illuminated to being greyed out. So far, so good.
The OP then bumps the thread with the bump button. The icon is now re-illuminated, but there is no new unread text, so if I click on the icon I get taken back to to the first post in the thread.
This seems counter-intuitive to me. If the thread is just bumped but no new content is added, why is the icon re-illuminated?
