Very old new guy

Hi guys, after waaay over a decade of visiting Basschat on and off (mainly the for sale section) I finally decided to make a profile. 
 

Started playing in 1998 mainly 60’s covers and the original stuff from the band I was in back then in my late teens. Went on to join a 7 piece functions band playing covers of Jamiroquai, Chilli Peppers, Stevie Wonder, Doobie Brothers etc for a while but ended up breaking some bones and unable to pick up the bass for a fair amount of time. Got big into mountain biking and broke even more bones so bass has been an on and off affair for me for the last 20+ yrs. 

 

My first real influences were Zender, Flea and Commerford. 
 

Very casual player, I’ve had my trusty Warwick Fortress Masterman for around 15yrs and I’ve had my 5 string Tacoma Thunderchief for over 10yrs.
