I've had this lovely metallic black 1998 Fender Lyte for a while now, but I rarely use it these days.  Why so cheap? Well, at a rehearsal, the nut sort of literally exploded—I've never seen this happen before. When I tried to remove the excess nut, the top wooden part shattered into many pieces that couldn't be glued back together. I simply glued a larger nut in place that is functioning just fine, but as it is, I rarely use it, so I didn't bother going to a luthier. The bass plays well, though,  and I used it at a recent rehearsal to good effect.

 

It's lovely at 7.4 lbs; it's a 1998 model with the original Fender electronics and all the Fender knobs. I thought I’d try here and offer it as a bargain to the B/C community.
