Phil Jones Bass - Suitcase BG400 £800 Staffordshire

For Sale: my beloved Phil Jones Suitcase Compact and it's matched extension cab (Compact 4). Comes with custom Roqsolid covers 

I've tried to justify keeping this combo and the extension cab for far too long. I just don't need it anymore 😔 (lack of gigs, IEMs, etc).

 

Amp puts out 300 watts at 8ohms and 500 at 4 (with extension cab attached). Condition is good. It's been rarely gigged. Home use, studio and practice room mainly. There are a couple of dings in the Tolex and a scratch / chip on the handle of the extension cab. I've tried to photograph these as clearly as I can. 

 

Classic clean Phil Jones sound. Jazz guitarist friend absolutely loves this amp. 

 

Two channels. I've utilised these both with two pickups on my upright. Handy if you use two basses on the same gig. Mute switches on both channels. 

 

Would prefer not to ship as it would be very expensive.
