Hello All, 

 

I recently picked up my lovely Fodera Emperor in a 3 basses for 1 trade from Bass Bros. It’s a truly stunning example of a passive jazz bass and is indistinguishable from new, I cannot find a mark or ding anywhere on the instrument. Please see details below.

I would like a trade for a 4 string which is sub 8 pounds as my left shoulder is a serious problem (with cash my way preferably) Please note that for some strange reason my bass is still listed on Reverb as for sale by The Gallery for  £5250. I believe it must have been there as a consignment sale and The Gallery have forgotten to remove it from their Reverb posts.
 

According to the info I have it was owned by a collector and was moved to Bass Bros by the owner from whence it came to me.  I don’t have lots of photos yet as this is very much an opportunity to see what might be out there. If there is sufficient interest I will be happy to post more photos. Please rest assured this is an incredible instrument, it sounds and plays wonderfully well as you would expect, weighs 4kg so it’s not at all heavy, and has a Fodera D tuner fitted.

This is a rare beast, in fact I can’t see many for sale at all unless you want to ship from Japan and pay a small fortune in duty, vat, shipping etc and a purchase price of over £6000. Needless to say I won’t be upset if I have to keep her, but a recent job change means a bit of cash will come in handy. Please note that two of these photos are taken from the Reverb listing.
