The best-playing Jazz I have owned, and the one that gains all the compliments - from fellow band members for the sound and the audience for its striking looks.

 

Comes with new Fender gig bag and case candy.

 

A retaining screw has been refitted since the pics were taken.

 

Reduced to £875. The one and only pricedrop. It’s such a great bass!

Gigged this yesterday and another bass player came up afterwards, took it off the stand and examined it!

Perhaps I should post all the specs, but I think you all know what a Flea Jazz is. Someone enquired about the neck. I bought from Bass Direct as I had heard some necks were warped, but clearly didn’t have to send it back.  All was well. I will, though, photograph the flaming, which is exceptional - the neck is not reliced like the body.

Last call for a Sunday lunchtime meet at say Clapham or Hammersmith. 
 

I bought this after seeing the Beach Boys bassist playing one. Not only was the sound great, I realised he must have specified it for their only 2 UK gigs. Clearly the Flea set a pro standard, and for two years it has never let me down!
