krispn Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) The most versatile dirt/octave pedal out there. https://www.darkglass.com/en-gb/products/kaamos The beauty of this pedal is that it’s plug and play but very intuitively you can deep dive all the more complex features without the need for menu diving etc. Effectively it’s an Alpha Omicron and sub pedal in one. The dirt sound is spot on and although digital sounds exactly like my old AO analogue unit. Some great video demos out there so if you’re not aware of this check them out. Boxed as new. I keep buying octave pedals but never really get an opportunity to use them live. I do try but it doesn’t quite fit with the rocked up folk vibe we play. Plus who needs punishing subdirt/pseudo synth on Dirty Old Town! The killer feature for me is the parallel pathway with all three signals clean/sub/dirt blended to perfection. I just wish I had more use fot it. Oh has a DI out too so can double up if some mid gig disaster happens to your rig. It is the best design and thought out sub pedal I’ve ever used.
