bass_dinger Posted October 25, 2025 Posted October 25, 2025 I have a set of La Bella flat wound strings from a 5-string bass (B to G, 3 over 2 layout). Probably Deep Talkin' Bass, maybe the .045" to 0.128" set? However, the D string is missing (it snapped when I moved the string set from one bass to another). So, if anyone wants a partial set of flats, perhaps as spares, or to try out the feel of this brand, do please let me know. Free, because I can't justify charging for them. Robert Quote
kwmlondon Posted Wednesday at 22:39 Posted Wednesday at 22:39 Hi. Can you do me a favour? Do you know if the person who took them put the set on a 5 string? I just need a low b so if they’re not using it perhaps I could ask for it? Cheers Quote
bass_dinger Posted Wednesday at 22:54 Author Posted Wednesday at 22:54 (edited) I have no details on the bass that it went onto. However, I have reached out to the beneficiary of my largesse, while at the same time preserving their anonymity. Let's see what the response will be. Edited 14 hours ago by bass_dinger benefactor? No, beneficiary. 2 Quote
