Clarky Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Have played many genres, from death metal to Americana, blues to goth and even funk/hip hop. Not great in any of them, let's be honest, but solid and reliable enough to be first call for a Grammy-nominated blues rock singer over the past 15 years and to have been regularly gigging in all the coolest small/mid sized London venues (Dublin Castle, Half Moon, 100 Club etc). Had to step away from my goth/post punk band The InSect due to family circumstances at end 2024 and looking to get back into a band - preferably post punk/goth (maybe even a tribute band to Joy Division, Cure, Banshees etc) or loud guitar-based rock/metal. If that band preferred rehearsing on a weekday, rather than weekend, all the better. Better yet if in SW/W London but fine to travel to Camden/Dalston Ideally would be rehearsing once every 1-2 weeks and gigging once a month. Downsides. I am not a spring chicken (I am old enough to have seen Bauhaus supported by The Birthday Party and Bon Scott singing for AC/DC). I am therefore not great with Tiktok trends like flapping my hands and shouting 6-7. Upsides. I am solid, reliable, have good gear, transport and a reasonable amount of time on my hands, as I am semi-retired, plus I look like an ageing rock god (OK the last bit is boll*cks). But I do have hair. Edited 6 hours ago by Clarky Quote
