Now £775 - Fender 2007 American Series Precision w/G&G hard case £825 Leicestershire

Hello, 

 

I’m selling a 2007 American Series Fender P Bass, complete with its original G&G hardcase.

 

Fender’s serial number check dates it to April 2007. Really nice three tone sunburst, rosewood board, alder body, the S-1 switch on the volume knob, strung through body or top loaded. 
 

Weighs a smidge over 4kg (4.07kg).

I bought it from the original owner and it’s clearly been well cared for. It’s really clean and in lovely condition with minimal fretwear and only a handful of small marks here and there as you’d expect from an 18 year old working instrument.

 

I’ve tried to photograph them as best I can. 

 

Neck is straight, action medium/low at the moment with plenty of room to go lower. 

 

Currently strung with brand new D’addario EXL165 strings, gauge 45-105. 
 

Would much prefer collection or meet up to try before you buy. There’s plenty of tea, biscuits and a Markbass rig to try it through here. 

G&G case is in good used condition - few small scrapes etc on the outside as expected, being a case and all that.

No keys but the locks and catches work smoothly.

Alas I’m a right handed player and I bought this on a bit of a whim with a view to possibly getting the nut re-cut for right handed stringing, but circumstances and my plans have changed and I can’t justify yet another bass so it remains in its original configuration.

 

Im near the Leicestershire / Northamptonshire border but I travel into Leicester and Derby fairly frequently so that’s an option too.
