These punch well above their weight. 
Mike Kerr from Royal Blood used one all over their first album. 
The neck is slim and fast. 
The colour is ‘none more black’. 
The truss rod works as it should. 
The frets are in great shape. 
The pickups, which are single coils btw, are high output but articulate.

Here iis the Gretsch in action. I am not a great plectrum player but this northern soul classic called for it. As you’ll notice, the sound is on

point and refined.
