Ibanez gsr180 goes louder when turning neck knob lower

So recently i bought my first bass from a friend and after some playing i found out that turning neck pickup knob lower makes bass sound louder while bridge pickup is on max. What do i do?

Does the same thing happen with the neck pup on full, and rolling the bridge vol down?

It's normal as the pups are wired in parallel.

Nop, only happens when bridge is on max
