As new Genzler ‘Magellan Pre’ with box. 3 band preamp (with parametric mids), HPF & DI with A/B contour channel changeable by footswitch & set by dial. Same preamp and contours as is on the Genzler Magellan amp heads

 

Channel A = Modern,mid scoop/Hi & Low Boost - sounds excellent for funk, R&B, slap, pop and many other styles and manages to have a mid scoop eq’d that doesn’t get lost in the mix! Channel B = Vintage, roll off highs & high mids, low mid boost and cut the ultra lows giving a really nice sound for more old school music - again can bet set from flat to subtle through to max - it’s very hard to get a a bad sound from the pedal, super transparent and very musical EQ & contours 

 

Check out the videos below for some idea of the sounds, but if you like a clear transparent preamp you won’t get a much better sound than this, and the switchable contours are some proper ‘tone magic’
