Stranglehold fx?

I'm just helping a band out and they want to do Nugent's Stranglehold.

 

However, none of them are particularly fx savvy and IMO it needs the Flangy/ phasey movement somewhere.

 

In a rehearsal last week I used a wah and sweeping it slowly, but it didn't quite work for me.

 

Any suggestions? So far I've tried MXR evh90, phase 90 clone, electric mistress flanger, BF2B

It is a phase shifter. Not all sound quite the same, so it may be a different flavor than the one you have.

apparently after digging around it was a phase 90. 

However I'm going with the blood moon phaser. Sounds best to my ears
