DiCosimo 800RB Preamp Pedal £260 Falkirk

I’m having a big clear out of basses, strings and pedals. Pretty much anything that I am no longer going to be using so that I can reduce my collection to just 1 main bass, a back up and the pedals that I need.

 

when my band moved from backline to IEMS I must have went through about 15-20 preamp pedals before I found the one that I liked. Being a huge Gallien Krueger fan this was one that I had to try.

 

It's modelled after the legendary 800RB amp we all know and love and comes complete with effects loop, DI out, etc.

 

Honestly I didn't think that I'd sell this. This pedal and a very special bass that I am planning to list shortly go together perfectly. 

 

I bought this directly from the manufacturer in the US and it cost me, after taxes, about £350 so who knows how much they will cost after the TACO tax is added on.

 

An interesting story that adds nothing to the value whatsoever is that this pedal was at one point misdirected to Beef Island on it's way to me. Yes that's right, there's a place called Beef Island just west of Puerto Rico.
