As far as I can see, the FB series were originally made in Japan, but the production switched to South Korea. I believe that this is a Korean made bass. The oddity is that it looks like the neck has been coated in some way. It frets and plays fine but looks a little odd straight on. The Neck seems to be a typical P type, with 42mm nut width and I suspect a chunky D profile. The pointy end of the headstock was broken when shipped to me, but it has been glued back on. It looks like there is a lot of wear on the back, but I do not remember it and as I am away until Monday, I cannot check. There are some filled holes (blue) on the back of the head stock, I have no idea why. If I kept it, I would get a new bridge and some new knobs. You might have other ideas. Quote
